Stopover on trip from Las Vegas to Death Valley. Interesting farm, small gift shop, free samples dates, date milkshakes very good, staff friendly. Access thru gravel road but very doable.Full review by OntarioCanuck1

Great drive out to the China Ranch Date Farm. Went on a nice hike and had the date smoothie. The date chocolate cookies are so good. Very peaceful and unique experience.Full review by Patricia T

The issue is that the road to the Date Ranch is uneven and unpaved and the little bits of residual pavement are in disrepair. There are quite a few hikes from China Date Ranch, the gift shop is small but quite nice, but the location is quite remote and rugged.
