Dodgers prospect Alex Freeland was called up Tuesday after Hyeseong Kim was placed on the injured list with left shoulder bursitis.

Hyeseong Kim goes on the IL with bursitis in his left shoulder and Tommy Edman is playing with a recurring ankle issue, creating an opportunity for Freeland.

The Los Angeles Dodgers called up infielder Alex Freeland and placed infielder Hyeseong Kim on the 10-day injured list before Tuesday night’s game against the Cincinnati Reds.
