The Kentucky State Police released more information Wednesday about the trooper who was shot while conducting a traffic stop near Lexington’s Bluegrass Airport last Sunday, which escalated to fatal shootings at a Lexington church.

Two people were killed and three others were injured, including a state trooper, in a series of shootings in Kentucky on July 13, authorities said.
