Tottenham Hotspur are exploring a move to reunite Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo with manager Thomas Frank, reports have revealed. Frank left Brentford earlier this week to take charge at Spurs, who were initially expected to keep out of the pursuit of Mbeumo.

Mbeumo had been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United earlier this month with the player reportedly keen on a move.

One player who has intimate knowledge about the inner workings of a Frank squad is Bryan Mbeumo. The Cameroon international scored 20 Premier League goals for the Bees last season and is seemingly on his way out of the Gtech Community Stadium, with Tottenham reportedly trying to hijack Manchester United 's big-money move for him.
