Fortnite's new season is here, and with it a new arsenal of weapons, new bug-infested locations on the Battle Royale map, and a Halo collab.

Chapter 6, Season 4 will release on August 7, 2025. As far as downtime goes, it will start at 1:30 AM ET. Servers will go offline during this time to prepare for the big update, so you won’t be able to launch the game at all. However, you should still be able to download the patch.

Fortnite 's Chapter 6 Season 4 has three medallions you can earn as rewards for taking out the three Queen alien bugs around the map. Each medallion does something different, so you'll want to study up on which one suits your fancy before diving in.
