Resilience Healthcare acquired both Weiss and West Suburban Medical Center out of bankruptcy in 2022. Both facilities depend on Medicare or Medicaid to pay for 70% to 80% of their patients.

The owner of Weiss and West Suburban hospitals told reporters that both medical facilities have an uncertain path forward.
