A federal judge is set to hear arguments over temporarily pausing President Donald Trump’s executive order seeking to end birthright citizenship for anyone born in the U.S. to someone in the country illegally.

As one of his first acts in office, Trump signed an executive order aiming to end automatic citizenship for children born in the U.S. if neither their mother or father is a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
