The U.S. Geological Survey reported two earthquakes with preliminary magnitudes of 3.5 and 3.0 ​hit near the San Bernardino area Monday morning.

A major, 7.6-magnitude earthquake struck in the Caribbean Sea on Saturday and triggered a tsunami advisory in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, according to the United States Geological Survey.

Two minor earthquakes struck the San Bernardino area on Monday, Feb. 10, the U.S. Geological Survey said. At 9:44 a.m., a magnitude 3.5 earthquake was recorded 3 miles northeast of San Bernardino, followed by a 3.0 earthquake at the same location at 9:48 a.m.

A magnitude 3.0 earthquake shook the San Bernardino area Monday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

A magnitude 7.6 earthquake struck in the western Caribbean on Saturday night, prompting a tsunami advisory for the Cayman Islands as Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands were cleared of the threat.
