NEWTON COUNTY, Ga. — A Flash Flood Warning issued early Sunday morning for three counties east of Atlanta has been canceled.
Highs are not expected to break 70 degrees, and a flood watch that covers all of metro Atlanta and the state's western half remains in effect.
A flood watch covers much of the state and remains in effect through 8 p.m. Tuesday. A flood warning is also in place for the Ocmulgee River near Macon until Friday.
