A farmworker who fell from a greenhouse roof during a chaotic ICE raid this week at a California cannabis facility died Saturday of his injuries.

Federal law enforcement officials fired tear gas and rubber bullets at protesters Thursday during a large immigration raid in Ventura County at one of California’s largest and most notable cannabis farms, according to a local mayor at the scene.

Federal agents clashed with protesters during an immigration raid at a farm in Southern California, one of at least two large-scale raids in the region on Thursday. The incident occurred outside of an agricultural farm along Laguna Road in the Camarillo area of Ventura County.
