According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Jets reached an agreement with star cornerback Sauce Gardner on a four-year, $120.4 million contract extension on Tuesday. The deal includes $85.6 million guaranteed, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The New York Jets seemingly struck gold with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, when they selected two-time All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner. Back in that draft, Gardner and standout receiver Garrett Wilson were both part of the haul.
