ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) has issued an expanded air quality alert affecting northern, central, south central, and southwest Minnesota. The alert is in effect until 11 p.m. on Friday and includes areas such as the Twin Cities metro, Albert Lea, Brainerd, Duluth, and several Tribal Nations.
