What’s next for the Cincinnati Reds in the NL Playoffs
Should the Reds advance past the Hall of Fame-littered Dodgers, they’d next face the Philadelphia Phillies with a chance to exorcise the demons of the 2010 NLDS and the Roy Halladay no-hitter. The first game of that series is set for Saturday, October 4th, though the start time for it is still TBD.
Now, they'll take on the reigning World Series champs, the Los Angeles Dodgers, in a three-game series in LA. That means Reds Country will have some late nights watching Tito and company try to top MVP favorite Shohei Ohtani and what feels like the baseball equivalent of the Monstars from "Space Jam."

Reds complete improbable run to postseason with help from Mets
The Cincinnati Reds defied the odds to make it into the playoffs, beating out the New York Mets, who collapsed down the stretch. The Reds secured their first trip to the postseason since 2020. Before that, the Reds last made the playoffs in a full season in 2013.
Carlos Mendoza should fired. 0-70 when trailing after 8 is inexcusable. You win just of those games and you’re in. Dude is bad manager. Zero situational awareness and terrible bullpen management and can’t motivate his players. He should be gone immediately.
