While a plethora of rumors that surfaced throughout April claimed that the Pittsburgh Steelers could look to trade wide receiver George Pickens before or during the 2025 NFL Draft, subsequent reports insisted Pittsburgh never came close to completing such a transaction.

It seems like George Pickens has been the subject of trade talks since the beginning of last offseason. The subject of a Pickens trade picked up steam this offseason after the Steelers acquired D.K. Metcalf via trade from the Seattle Seahawks, and rumors of a deal with the Dallas Cowboys in the works surfaced.
