The winter storm warning includes Fairfield, Kershaw, Newberry, and Saluda counties. Heavy mixed precipitation is expected in this area, with ice accumulations ranging from two-tenths to three-tenths of an inch and snow and sleet totals of up to one-half inch.

The snow that began falling in the Upstate area of South Carolina Friday morning will continue until about 4 p.m., then the ice begins to mix in.
