Oklahoma Sooners check in at No. 5 in latest AP Poll
The Sooners, ranked sixth in the Coaches Poll, moved up to No. 5 in the AP Poll. Losses by Penn State and Georgia opened two places inside the top five. Oklahoma and fellow Southeastern Conference mate Ole Miss took them at fifth and fourth, respectively. The two schools were followed by another SEC team in Texas A&M.
The Missouri Tigers poured 42 points on the Kansas Jayhawks defense en route to an 11-point Week 3 victory on the back of quarterback Beau Pribula. Kevin Coleman Jr. racked up 10 catches and a score.
