Friday’s “First Call” has developments surrounding two former Pittsburgh Steelers who joined the Los Angeles Chargers this offseason. Former Pirate Rowdy Tellez is back in the big leagues. And a one-time Pitt Panther is trying to settle his off-the-field court case.

According to multiple reports, Williams has informed the Chargers that he is retiring. Williams, 30, was the Chargers’ first draft selection after the club relocated to Los Angeles in 2017. He was the No. 7 overall pick of that year’s draft out of Clemson.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Thursday former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Mike Williams plans to retire.

Williams made an immediate impact, catching a game-winning touchdown pass from quarterback Russell Wilson to give the Steelers a 28-27 win over the Washington Commanders.
