A zebra, that escaped from its owner in Christiana, Tennessee, was captured on Sunday and airlifted to safety by the local sheriff’s office. The animal, named Ed, had been reported missing just a day after he was acquired by its owners in Rutherford County.

A plane crashed in Coffey County, Tennessee, with 16 to 20 people on board the aircraft. Officials said the passengers were airlifted to hospitals.

June 9 (UPI) -- Multiple people were injured in a skydiving plane crash in Tennessee on Sunday. The plane was carrying 20 people and crashed at around 12:45 p.m on Old Shelbyville Road. Authorities arrived on scene quickly and transferred at least six people to hospitals while the others were taken care of by emergency services on scene.
