WhatsApp has a feature for those moments when you want to share something, but don't want it to stick around. Called "View Once," the feature lets you send a photo or a video to someone; after they've seen it, the content is gone forever.

Meta's WhatsApp is one of the safer messaging platform options currently available on the market. The platform offers end-to-end encryption, an option to set two-step verification, privacy settings for groups, view-once media, and more. The latter of the list, however, has previously proved to be a concern.

WhatsApp has fixed a major privacy bug in its "View Once" feature on iPhones, which allowed users to access disappearing photos and videos after viewing.

As per reports, WhatsApp has released a fix for the bug that allowed iOS users to bypass the 'View Once' restriction and view disappearing media multiple times.

According to a report by the Android Police, WhatsApp has rolled out a fix for a view-once media bug that allowed recipients to access the limited-time media after the one-time viewing. The report claimed that the vulnerability was present in WhatsApp for iOS and was not found in Android versions.

WhatsApp has reportedly squashed a bug in the view once feature that enabled access to images even after they had been opened.
