TRAVERSE CITY, MI – Police have identified the man they believe entered a Walmart and stabbed 11 people at random. Bradford James Gille, 42, is in custody and awaiting arraignment on numerous charges in connection with the mass stabbing, police said at a press conference Sunday, July 27.
It was a seemingly normal Saturday for Julia Martell, who was browsing the aisles of her local Walmart with a friend when she heard people screaming.
A stabbing suspect, who is believed to have acted alone, is in custody, but no motive is known, police say.
Police are trying to determine why a man allegedly traveled downstate to Traverse City and stabbed 11 people inside a Walmart.
