The Penn State White Out has become a bucket list item for college football fans across the country and Saturday’s version did not disappoint. The energy in Beaver Stadium was electric all night as the home team fell behind by 14 early in the fourth quarter but rallied to tie the game in the final minute to send it to overtime.

ESPN College GameDay analyst Pat McAfee had a lot to say about his first trip to a Penn State White Out game. “That might’ve been the best experience I’ve ever seen,” said McAfee on The Pat McAfee Show Monday afternoon.

From pregame activities in the morning until the game at night, the entirety of Saturday during a White Out is a special time in Happy Valley.

Penn State was forced to swallow the same unsavory pill it has for years, thanks to another big-game loss to Oregon in the White Out. The Ducks toppled the Nittany Lions in overtime, 30-24, behind a steady offense and stifling defense. Penn State’s offense was anemic and placed a well-performing defense in too many tough situations.

Penn State will host Oregon at Beaver Stadium in the “White Out” game September 27 on Big Ten Saturday Night. Kickoff for one of college football’s biggest games of the year starts at 7:30 p.m. ET. Fans can watch the epic clash between the No. 3-ranked Nitanny Lions and the No. 6-ranked Ducks live on NBC or stream it on Peacock.

The panel, including Nick Saban, rocked all-white outfits. Though, it appears Pat McAfee rode with an off-white blazer or cream color. Either way, it was a sight to behold at Beaver Stadium in Happy Valley. The fashion look comes a day after Saban trolled Penn State about the white-out tradition.
