Xiaomi has officially confirmed its self-developed smartphone chip, named the Xiaomi XRING 01, which is entirely developed and designed in-house by Xiaomi.

Xiaomi is preparing to launch the XRING 01, its first in-house smartphone chipset, later this month, marking a major step forward in the company’s long-term ambition to reduce reliance on third-party chipmakers and strengthen its hardware ecosystem.

Xiaomi has announced that it is making its own smartphone chip. Called the XRING 01, the chip is rumoured to come with the Xiaomi 15s.
