SAN ANTONIO – YoCrunch is recalling its products because of a choking hazard. The voluntary recall comes after some consumers found plastic pieces in the dome topper where the candy is, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
YoCrunch yogurt products are being recalled nationwide by manufacturer Danone U.S., the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced Monday, July 14. The recall is due to the “potential presence of plastic pieces in the dome topper.”
The latest, on Monday, was Danone U.S.' voluntarily recall of all flavors and sizes of its YoCrunch yogurt, following consumer complaints about the potential presence of sharp, transparent plastic pieces in the yogurt's dome topper, the company said.
