Nix has the Broncos in the driver's seat for home-field advantage, and he's busted his way into the MVP conversation. That he's been able to do that as just a second-year player is amazing, and the same can be said for Maye and the New England Patriots.

It's time to acknowledge the Broncos are more than just lucky, and that their quarterback is a big reason for their NFL-best record.

In his latest film review, Jenkins began his look in the second quarter. "The first quarter was so uneventful that we don't have a single clip from it," said Jenkins, head in hands. "With that being said, the end of the game definitely was not uneventful."

When they all trickle back under the Nix family roof in Alabama for board-game marathons, the goal is simple. Beat Bo. Because Bo Nix is trying to beat them.

Nix went 23-of-34 passing for 302 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions, leading the Broncos to a 34-26 win that clinched a spot in the NFL playoffs. Nix also made plays with his legs, ending the day with no sacks taken and 12 yards gained on the ground (before losing two yards on kneeldowns).

Former Broncos kicker Brandon McManus kicked field goals of 56, 23 and 35 yards to help the Packers take a 16-14 halftime lead and added a 37-yarder in the fourth quarter that pulled Green Bay within 27-26 before the Broncos iced it on R.J. Harvey's 4-yard TD run.

Green Bay fell to the No. 7 seed in the NFC and, more concerningly, saw superstar pass rusher Micah Parsons suffer a non-contact knee injury. He did not return, and Green Bay reportedly fears he tore his ACL.
