NBC lead analyst Kevin Kisner torches CBS for Masters coverage: ‘I have no idea what they are doing’
There were a slew of complaints from fans about the coverage on Sunday. CBS lost the approach shots on 18 from Rory McIlroy and Cam Young in the final group of the tournament. The network also opted not to cover most of Sam Burns’ double-bogey blowup on the second hole when he was tied for the lead.
Kevin Kisner ripped CBS's Masters Sunday broadcast on Barstool's Fore Play podcast, saying the coverage was minutes behind live action at Augusta National.
The 2026 Masters is on its way to a conclusion with a star-studded leaderboard battling over the final 18 holes. Defending champion Rory McIlroy gave up a historic six-shot lead on Moving Day as 28-year-old Cameron Young matched the green jacket holder's round of the tournament with a 7-under 65 on Saturday to move into a tie for the lead.
While the 2026 Masters entered the third round on Saturday at Augusta National Golf Club, it was day one of the coverage this year for CBS. CBS is synonymous with Masters coverage and has televised the tournament since 1956.
