The Texans are now in a playoff spot following their fifth straight victory, a win in Kansas City that was both cathartic and showed their immense potential to a national TV audience.

The Houston Texans are in business thanks to Nico Collins, C.J. Stroud and Woody Marks. Houston is up 10-0 over the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium after Marks hauled in a. 7-yard touchdown reception on third-and-goal. So far, Stroud has been on point, going 10-of-12 for 147 yards and a touchdown.

The Chiefs' pass rush, or lack thereof, was evidently subpar this season. In 2025, Kansas City totaled 33 sacks, which ranked 26th in the league. About a third of those sacks were accounted by edge rushers. That is simply not good enough if the Chiefs want to continue competing for super bowls in the future.
