The original reporting about Lane Johnson’s Lisfranc injury indicated that the Philadelphia Eagles’ All-Pro right tackle could miss “ four-to-six weeks .” Now there is hope he might only miss three games, thus explaining why the team did not place him on the injured reserve list on Saturday.

The Philadelphia Eagles might have caught a break when it comes to an injury to one of the NFL's elite offensive tackles.

That is, not having two starters to begin the game against the Cowboys. In addition to star right tackle Lane Johnson, who's reportedly out for at least four to six weeks with a Lisfranc injury on the top of his foot, the Eagles could also be without center Cam Jurgens.
