Trump holds off 'final determination' for Iran
Shortly before noon, the president posted on Truth Social that he was “meeting now” in the Situation Room “to make a final determination” on a potential agreement.
President Donald Trump said Friday that "I will be meeting now, in the Situation Room, to make a final determination" on Iran. The U.S. and Tehran are working towards an agreement to end the war.
Trump told reporters that the administration was in the "final stages" of negotiations with Iran, according to a pool report.
Pakistan Army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir arrived in Tehran as mediation efforts between Iran and the United States gained momentum, even as Iranian officials cautioned that differences remain “deep and significant”.
