Winter storm watches across the country have people out at the stores stocking up. Here's another way to prep for the snow and ice.

As Tennesseans brace for a winter storm, many are running errands, preparing their homes and gearing up for the ice, snow and frigid temperatures forecast across the region over the weekend.

A monster winter storm cut electricity for over 850,000 and led to the cancellation of over 10,000 flights in the United States, paralysing eastern and southern states with heavy snow and ice.

American Airlines accounted for the largest share of disruptions on Jan 26, with nearly 570 flights cancelled and about 57 delayed, followed by Republic Airways, JetBlue Airways and Delta Air Lines.
