CARNEGIE, Pa. — All southbound lanes of Interstate 79 were closed because of a multi-vehicle crash between the Carnegie (Exit 57) and Kirwan Heights (Exit 55) interchanges on Friday morning.

The Kirwan Heights/Heidelberg exit from Interstate 79 is no more. It's now Collier/Heidelberg. PennDOT made the change at the request of Collier Township, where the exit is situated.
