There are new faces at this year’s Big 12 Men’s Basketball Championships, as fans of four new conference teams make their first visit to T-Mobile Center.

N’Guessan, a forward who was spent the past three years at K-State, scored 20 points and he was far and away the best offensive weapon on his team. He also grabbed 10 rebounds for a double-double. Hawkins, a transfer from Illinois, was held to five points.

The Bears received a well-rounded scoring effort Wednesday night, led by a 19-point double-double from VJ Edgecombe.
