"Attempting to negate [TSA workers'] legally binding collective bargaining agreement now makes zero sense – it will only reduce morale and hamper the workforce," said Rep. Bennie G. The move, which the TSA union called an 'unprovoked attack,' marks a major effort to dismantle union protections under the Trump administration.

The Department of Homeland Security last week ended the collective bargaining agreement — signed last May —  with the Transportation Security Administration security officers.

Nearly 2,000 TSA employees will be effected by the termination put in place by the Department of Homeland Security and Trump administration.
