Kia unveiled the EV4, PV5, and Concept EV2 at the brand’s EV day in Tarragona, Spain on 27 March. The three new models define Kia’s latest phase of its electrification strategy. The Kia PV5 is the first vehicle from the brand’s new Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) strategy.

Kia is launching a new EV4 sedan and hatchback with promising range figures for an affordable electric car. The vehicle was announced at Kia’s 2025 EV day event in Spain today, where the company also revealed an urban-focused EV2 small electric SUV concept and the PV5 electric passenger and cargo van.

Kia’s latest production-ready EV is slated to hit the United States. The 2026 Kia EV4 rides on the company’s modular E-GMP platform. According to Kia, the EV4 will be available in hatchback and sedan shells and will offer two battery options.
