BBC review finds Gaza documentary breached accuracy guidelines by failing to disclose 13-year-old narrator's father worked for Hamas government.

The BBC programme Gaza: How to Survive a Warzone breached one of the BBC’s Editorial Guidelines on accuracy, by failing to disclose information about the child narrator’s father’s position within the Hamas-run government, a report published today finds.

The public broadcaster came under fire in February when one of the 13-year-old subjects in the film, a young boy called Abdullah Al-Yazouri, was found to be the son of a Hamas official.
