Mayor Michelle Wu represented Boston well at the ‘sanctuary cities’ congressional hearing, readers say. Here’s why.
Boston Mayor Michelle Wu Shows How It's Done
The Boston Mayor quickly bashed Republicans during Wednesday's House Oversight Committee hearing on "Sanctuary Cities" led by QAnon Klan Mom Marjorie Taylor Greene for not doing anything to help the country outside of grandstanding and viciously cutting veterans, much needed cancer research and Medicaid.
Wu emerged from the marathon hearing largely unscathed, and managed to land a few hits in the face of aggressive questioning.
The firm charged a rate of $950 per hour, and the city “expects to pay” up to $650,000 for work related to the hearing.
Mayor Wu has yet to officially launch her reelection campaign, but she couldn’t ask for a bigger stage to show why she deserves four more years.
