Just a few years ago, the Denver Broncos were in turmoil. They had made the infamous Russell Wilson trade, sending premium draft picks and massive guaranteed money to Seattle, only to watch Wilson underperform.

According to Paton, the Broncos are anything but forced to go with running back with the team’s 20th overall selection. If the right guy falls, sure, but if Denver bypasses a running back at 20 (or even at 51), Broncos Country should not panic.

After selecting QB Bo Nix with the 12th overall pick in last year’s draft, the Broncos ended their eight-season playoff drought, going 10-7 before losing at Buffalo in the Wild Card.
