The Cleveland Browns had an eventful draft, starting out by trading back from No. 2 overall to No. 5. The Browns doubled up at both quarterback and running back, injecting a lot of fresh competition into the offensive backfield.

Vardell was known as “Touchdown Tommy” in college, and was solid during his first two seasons with Cleveland, logging 1,013 yards on 270 carries and three touchdowns. His final two seasons, however, were limited by injuries and resulted in 19 carries through 10 games.

Brady famously went from the No. 199 pick (sixth round) in the 2000 draft to a seven-time Super Bowl winner and the NFL record holder for career passing yards and touchdowns.
