Brave New World," director Julius Onah wanted his entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe to be rooted in the world of a political thriller. Films like "The Day of the Jackal," "Le Samouraï" and even "The Killing of a Sacred Deer" were among some of his inspirations.

While Harrison Ford’s Red Hulk has cemented itself as one of the standout features of Captain America 4, the character interestingly did not have any dialogue in the film. The villainous, rage-fueled monster only made a brief appearance in Captain America: Brave New World but failed to deliver any lines in his big-screen debut.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe didn’t just need a villain worthy of Captain America. It needed a smash — and that’s what Hulks are for.
