These three defensive plays not only stopped the offensive momentum of the Chargers but it boosted the confidence and morale of Giants nation.
New York Giants co-owner John Mara has revealed in a statement that he has been diagnosed with cancer. As per the statement, Mara has asked for privacy for he and his family, and he shared his intent to undertake treatment while still maintaining a presence at the Giants.
New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo is going viral for his celebrations in the end zone on Sept. 28, which included a backflip.
Herbert was pressured on nearly 3/4 of dropbacks according to this stat, which is just an absurd amount. Once Joe Alt left the game early, it was basically free game for the Giants' pass rush. The Chargers need to figure out a plan to protect their quarterback quickly to avoid another performance like this.
Dart played with toughness, ignoring a second-quarter left hamstring injury that took much of the designed quarterback run game out of the Giants’ playbook. He took plenty of big hits, some his own fault for holding the ball too long or not getting down when he probably should have.
With the win, Dart became just the sixth QB in NFL history to beat a team with a record of 3-0 or better in his first start. Dart also became the first rookie QB to beat Jim Harbaugh's Chargers. And since we're talking about Dart, why don't we go ahead and start our Week 4 grades with the Giants' big win.
