It happened again. For the second time this year, the Trump administration has halted the construction of a massive offshore wind farm being built to power blue states.

State officials criticized the administration for stopping work on the nearly finished offshore wind project in New England.

Denmark’s Orsted lost almost a fifth of its market value at one point as investors sold the offshore wind champion’s shares. They were reacting to orders by President Donald Trump to cease developing an almost-finished project in the northeast US.
