Rafael Devers will get a visit from his former team less than a week after he was traded when the Boston Red Sox venture into San Francisco to take on the Giants in the opener of a three-game series Friday night.

Devers, as became custom during his 1,053 games as a member of the Red Sox, hit a couple of rockets in his San Francisco debut against the Guardians. In all, it was a 2-for-5 night with an RBI double and two strikeouts as San Francisco lost, 3-2.
