Rowdy Tellez worked out with the Rangers on Thursday, with the anticipation that he will be added to their roster before their first game back.

Rowdy Tellez, 30, has been with Triple-A Round Rock after starting the season with the Mariners. He adds a left-handed bat to the Texas Rangers lineup.
