HBO has released a trailer for ‘Task,’ a drama starring Mark Ruffalo and Tom Pelphrey and created by ‘Mare of Easttown’s’ Brad Ingelsby.

The culprits? A group of villains led by Tom Pelphrey's Robbie Prendergrast. Task 's teaser trailer's ending also reveals that the series will debut on the newly redubbed HBO Max in September 2025.

Ruffalo's Tom Brandis has to command a task force that needs to investigate and put an end to a series of home invasions led by Pelphrey's Robbie Prendergrast in Pennsylvania.

Robbie's role is taken on by Tom Pelphrey. According to Brad, the whole premise of Task was actually inspired by his real-life uncle, who used to be a priest.
