Close to 100 protesters came out on a rainy Saturday to protest the Trump administration’s policies as part of the No Kings Protests on June 14. This was not a new sight in Warren, as protesters have gathered weekly to protest the administration’s policies each Saturday for several weeks.
Protesters in County joined the nationwide “No Kings” movement on Trump’s birthday, rallying for rights and reforms in West Palm Beach.
The “No Kings” protest in Salt Lake City was struck by violence when a man allegedly brandished a rifle near the crowd, prompting someone nearby to fire three shots, hitting that man and a protester who later died.
The largely peaceful protests during the "No Kings Day" demonstration in downtown Los Angeles took an intense turn in the afternoon. Police ordered the crowd to disperse at about 4:15 p.m. PDT near Alameda Street and Temple Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department's Central Division.
A breakdown of who was charged with what and why wasn't immediately available, but the protest and related marches shut down streets throughout the day and into Saturday night.
