BART on Monday said it has started adding cars to its trains on most lines to keep up with a recent surge in ridership.
One of the adjustments includes the $3 base fare hike remaining, but the cap for 7 days of unlimited travel drops to $35.
The MTA estimates the change will save approximately 47,000 commuters about a minute on average during the morning rush.
