Arsenal have now rejected the chance to sign Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson following Noni Madueke's arrival in north London.
"Noni is an exciting and powerful young player, with his performances and numbers in recent seasons being of consistently high quality," Mikel Arteta said of Madueke.
