On Tuesday at 5:59 p.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated tornado warning in effect until 6:15 p.m. for Armstrong and Clarion counties.

However, at 5:52 p.m., the National Weather Service issued a tornado warning until 6:15 p.m. for central Armstrong and south central Clarion counties, after a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Rimersburg, moving east at 10 m.p.h. Radar indicated there was rotation involved.

Scattered storms with brief downpours are likely to lead to some flash flooding and flooding today in the western Pennsylvania area.
