NASCAR Xfinity Series star Connor Zilisch underwent surgery Tuesday morning on a broken collarbone he suffered after slipping and falling off of his car in Victory Lane while celebrating a win at Watkins Glen International. Zilisch shared that he had a plate and screws inserted to help facilitate his recovery.

Connor Zilisch admitted that his injury could require surgery, and opened up on the injury advice from his teammate Shane van Gisbergen.

Sporting a smile with his left elbow in a black sling draped around his neck, Connor Zilisch was back at Watkins Glen International and recounting his scary fall in victory lane a day earlier.
