The New York Knicks are trying to make another big trade this offseason. The Knicks attempted to do as such at the trade deadline back in February to acquire Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant, but the efforts were ultimately unsuccessful.

The Suns should ask for those draft picks for Durant. As far as players, landing Jalen Green and Jabari Smith Jr. in a trade would give the Suns two Day 1 starters to pair up with Devin Booker, Bradley Beal and a big man.

The Houston Rockets and San Antonio Spurs are two teams linked to the possibility of landing Durant, along with the Minnesota Timberwolves and others. According to John Gambadoro, a notable Suns insider, Durant and someone close to him had a conversation about the Spurs, which is why Gambadoro linked the two sides in a trade conversation.
