Mardi Gras 2026 kicked off in Pensacola over the weekend, but all of the biggest celebrations are still ahead.
Ash Wednesday can take place anywhere from Feb. 4 through March 10, and this year, it falls on the earlier side.
The Mardi Gras season, also referred to as Carnival, begins 12 days after Christmas on Jan. 6 and lasts until Fat Tuesday.
